IBA Launches Branch Office in Australia
Jan 23, 2008
The International BodyTalk Association (IBA) has announced the opening of a branch office in Brisbane, Australia.
The new IBA Australasia office, according to IBA founder Dr. John Veltheim, will serve as the prime business center for IBA membership and activity in Australia, New Zealand and neighboring Pacific Islands.
IBA is the headquarters for the BodyTalk System and its related wellness and personal growth programs, Dr. Veltheim explained. Based on state-of-the-art energy science, he said, the System and its other modalities draw on innate, natural energy fields to bring stability, wellness and balance to people, animals and the environment. The IBA, which has some 3000 members in 30 countries worldwide, also has a European office in Germany.
The Australasia branch will be staffed by Cass Eames and Christopher Veltheim, Dr. Veltheim’s son, both of whom recently left the Sarasota-based headquarters to establish the new facility. Among their initial tasks will be coordinating the first two IBA Learning Forums to be presented in their part of the world. The events are scheduled in Auckland, New Zealand, on April 3-7 and in Brisbane, Australia, on April 10-13.
Said Dr. Veltheim: “I’m extremely excited to see an office established in Australia, where I grew up, went to school and practiced. I’m also proud to have my family involved with this office, providing services in an area of tremendous growth for BodyTalk.”
