Dear Members,

2014 felt like a pivotal year for the IBA. We spent a lot of time preparing for some very big events in 2015, and the whole team is excited and ready to go. Here in Australia, we are in the middle of our summer holidays. It is customary for a lot of people to take the Christmas/NewYears break with their family and rejuvenate for the next year. The weather is hot and the energy is building as we prepare for the new working year and back to school. 

Firstly
I would like to thank all of our members for their ongoing support. We really appreciate it. Your support is vital to the IBA, and we are truly grateful to be able to do the work that we do. In 2015, we can't wait to give back to the membership.
 
2015
This year will be a huge year for the IBA. PaRama Campus is about to go into Beta testing which means the launch is just around the corner. The whole team is excited for it to be in the hands of our students. We will be inviting all IBA members to join, and we have a few surprises in store for you when we launch. 

Vancouver- here we come

2015 is the year for the Vancouver Conference. The excitement around it tells me this will be one of the biggest conferences yet – providing the best opportunity for Members to come together and learn from some great minds. Plus, we all get to share our experiences and learn from one another. If you have ever been to one of the Members Conferences in the past, you know how electric the energy is. I cannot wait for this one. 

A Gift to You!
For the first time ever, all IBA Members will have an opportunity to tune into the conference broadcast for free. We will be hosting a free members only online event as a thank you gift to all of our members for your continued support. There will be six hours of valuable, practice enriching content broadcast via LiveStream FREE to all members who register for the online event.

Finally, I would like to take a moment to thank my Team. They work so hard behind the scenes, and I am grateful to work with each and every one of them.
 
Let us kick it off with Cliff Berry (our Graphic Designer) who is going into his tenth year with the IBA. Thank you for helping transform the IBA and everything you have done for our members.
 
Paul Clayson, our IT Guru, who has been instrumental in the development of PaRama Campus.
 
Alex Swincicki for helping to open up a whole new world of educational access as he has learned and delivered the new LiveStreaming platform.
 
We are lucky to have the tireless support of our IBA Family – they do so much each day to make our operations run smoothly. Join me in thanking -Cassandra Veltheim, Melanie Buzek, Guy Nir, Kassie Veltheim, Dawn LeBlanc, Amanda Rollefstad and Leann Aldridge (the newest member to the IBA team).
 
Thanks also to the IBA Board Members - John Veltheim, Esther Veltheim, Cass Veltheim, Claudia Schembri-Heitmann, Angela Adkins, Sylvia Muiznieks and Melanie Buzek. The Board works behind the scenes and helps make the big decisions. It is not an easy task at times, and I am so grateful to have such wonderfully experienced people with me.
 
Me
My son, Billy, just turned two and in a few weeks my daughter, Rose, turns five and begins school! It has been a big year for me both personally and professionally, and I look forward to an even bigger year in 2015. It will be the culmination of a few years work all coming together to help grow the IBA for the future.
