BodyTalk on the High Seas!

Sep 08, 2009

As well as running a busy BodyTalk practice, my husband and I are also professional ballroom dancers. We were recently hired to perform aboard a luxury Japanese cruise liner called Asaka 2.

We arrived on board in Grand Cayman to discover that our fellow dancer, Francine, had been very ill with a respiratory infection and fever. I immediately set to work and gave Francine her first BodyTalk session. Following the session, her fever peaked and she was able to sleep through the night without being interrupted by coughing.

The next day was show day and we were hard at work rehearsing and setting up our technical details. Before the show we made sure to tap out our Cortices for focus and concentration and, used the Switching technique to make sure we didn’t have two left feet! Our show was very well received and we look forward to future bookings with the cruise line.

The Access techniques have become part of our pre-show warm-up to keep us focused, relaxed and injury free!
