Sledge riding and "Hüttengaudi "
(Comment:: "Hüttengaudi" is a traditional term in alpine regions and can be described as "having a lot of fun at a skiers' hut")

... this was the motto of the last meeting of the BodyTalk Network Allgäu – Tirol (January 2013, Germany / Austria). On 25th January, at 5pm, 18 BodyTalkers from both regions (some with their partners/children) set out to climb the mountain! We pulled our sledges up the piste to the "Kronenhütte" in the Alpspitzbahn ski area in Nesselwang (Allgäu).

Snow had come just in time for our event and the snow cannons which we had to pass on our way up as well as coming down, did their bit too. In spite of the freezing temperatures tramping through the snow made us sweat quite a bit and so the meal was well earned.

We really enjoyed our meal which consisted of delicious "Kässpatzen" (home-made cheese pasta) and a salad. Unfortunately we didn't bring a guitar or any other musical instrument – obviously we had been overly concentrated on our sledges and toboggans. Nevertheless we had a good time, laughed a lot and enjoyed ourselves. After some hours at our homely get-together in the hut, and shortly before the floodlights on the piste would be turned off, we set out downhill in a wonderful snow flurry and with much laughter. (We could have stayed in the hut overnight but we saved that for another time.)

Invigorated by our time together we returned to the daily routine. Everyone had enjoyed our trip and expressed the wish to meet again as soon as possible – be it a business meeting or a get-together including family members. Let's just wait and see what our matrix holders come up with.
