Biography

» In Swedish

The first nineteen years of my life were spent in Jönköping in southern Sweden, after which I lived for two years in Los Angeles, where I trained to be a make-up artist. This was followed by several years in Sweden and abroad at a number of theaters and television networks and at the Göteborg Opera working with various projects, most of which involved the design and creation of make-up, masks, and wigs.

 

In 1990, I studied to be a massage therapist at the Axelson Gymnastiska Institute in Stockholm. A year later, I came in contact with Reiki for the first time. The results I experienced myself and saw in others prompted me to study to be a Reiki Master. I am a member of the international teachers association, the Reiki Network.

 

In 1996, my life took a new turn when I tried BodyTalk for the first time, during a course given by Dr. John Veltheim and his wife Esther in Göteborg. This was one of the very first courses ever to be given in BodyTalk. Even from its start, BodyTalk was a treatment method that attracted interest and yielded fast and tangible results. Through the years, I have followed and taken part in developing the BodyTalk system and have seen a greater deepening and broadening of the treatment results than I could ever have imagined from the beginning. This development is still very much going on, which means I can look forward to seeing what this exciting treatment method will be able to do in the future.

                     

My vision for BodyTalk in Scandinavia is that it should be a treatment that people think of naturally as a complement to other treatment methods and as a means of improving patients’ quality of life.

                     

I am also involved in spreading the Mindscape technique, since I feel it gives people contact – in an easily accessible, natural, simple and structured way – to tools that simplify, improve and deepen everyday life. Mindscape is a compilation and expansion of several consciousness-raising techniques used throughout history and up to today in many places in the world.

                     

I give lectures on BodyTalk Access and BodyTalk and courses in BodyTalk Access and Module 1, Module 2 and Modules 1&2 Advanced Practical within BodyTalk. I also receive patients for treatment at Hands on in Uppsala as well as at Odenplans Integrerade Hälsoklinik in Stockholm. I am a PaRama BodyTalk practitioner, which means I have access to the latest treatment method within the BodyTalk System.
