Biography

Married almost 30 years and with three grown children, Tod Trimble was raised on an Illinois corn and Black Angus farm. Tod is broadly educated in the sciences, humanities, and the arts:
 * undergraduate major in French, minor in chemistry,
 * master of science degree in psychology (emphasis in brain laterality),
 * master of arts in music conducting, and
 * doctorate from the University of Illinois in choral music.
Tod was a music professor for seven years before working for 15 years with a national association for music in higher education. In that capacity, he planned faculty development conferences and workshops on four continents: throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico, British Columbia, Ontario, and Québec, as well as Argentina, Austria, Costa Rica, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Spain, and Thailand.

In 2004, Tod was referred to BodyTalk, and was amazed at the resulting insights and benefits, clearly governed by a coherent system linking body and mind, enhancing both his health and his sense of well-being. Now he is himself a Certified BodyTalk Practitioner.

Tod’s clients report a wide range of improvements, including relief from acute back pain, hay fever, and the healing of painful, peeling fingertips that had defied standard care for years. Other examples: one client gained relief from a life-long phobia of having her face touched, and another replaced a real fear of a specific co-worker with a genuine empathy, relieving tension in the workplace. Using BodyTalk to address a therapist-in-training’s belief system, she experienced such a personal breakthrough that her supervisor commented on the new ease with which she engages clients.

There have been other examples as well. BodyTalk has brought about significant improvements for many, for Tod and now for those in his own practice. He welcomes new clients, new challenges, and new opportunities to learn more about these amazing bodies that our minds inhabit.
