I am continuing to study advanced modules as an ongoing process to broaden my knowledge and enhance my skills in the practice of the BodyTalk System.

 

 

Background

I have always been interested in Science, health and wellbeing and have a BSc Hons degree in Biology. I worked on a number of research projects after graduating such as cancer research and arthritis which I found very interesting. I then went on to study for the Post Graduate Certificate in Continuing Education after which I got involved in teaching a range of I. T courses to adults. I enjoyed working with adults who wanted to learn and achieve something in life.

 

Natural therapies are something I have always been drawn to and frequently used therapies such as Homeopathy and essential oils for ailments and illnesses. I became more interested in looking at other forms of holistic treatments which are safe and gentle to use.

 

I first learnt about BodyTalk after a visit to a Mind Body and Spirit festival. I was fascinated by it so started off by joining the one day Access Course. The simple but powerful techniques of the Access program are truly amazing and can be used instantly. I then went on to study the BodyTalk Modules 1 and 2 and started my journey towards becoming a Certified BodyTalk Practitioner (CBP).

 

I qualified as a BodyTalk practitioner in 2008. BodyTalk is amazing because it is a complete, holistic system that can work well alongside other therapies including Western medicine, Chinese medicine and anything in between. It works on all levels –physical, emotional, spiritual and mental therefore covers every aspect of the Body mind system. It is simple yet extremely powerful.

 

I am also qualified in Health Kinesiology and EFT which are holistic therapies that integrate well with BodyTalk.  

 

As I have studied the Mindscape System, this allows me to carry out distance sessions which are a valuable tool.
