Biography
I was born in England and grew up in South Africa. I returned to the UK in the 1970’s. While in south Africa I trained as a nurse, a midwife, and a nursery school teacher. These three trainings enable me to understand anatomy and physiology, child development, and some of the emotional development which frquently needs addressing in BodyTalk sessions. During the next 20 years, while raising a family, I nursed in NHS hospitals in Bournemouth and Christchurch, Dorset. My work was mainly with patients who had either chronic chest or chronic skin complaints. It often struck me that it might benefit patients if their health issues could be helped from the inside in a way which would clear their symptoms permanently. I came across BodyTalk 2 years ago and realised that this therapy could hold the answer. In July 2007 I became a CBP. I started practicing BodyTalk, and have since added module 3 and Tradional Chinese Medicine to my Bodytalk skills. Subsequently Mindscape and Breakthrough to furhter enhance these skills. For many years I have had a broad interest in health issues, producing 2 booklets on local health history in the 1990’s. These are available in libraries in Dorset.
Through this longterm interest in health I feel I have a natural understanding of healing and feel very comfortable working with this amazing therapy.
