After graduating from the University of Georgia with a Bachelors of Social Work, I was fascinated with what people envisioned when they said they wanted to “feel better”...understanding that each of us is unique and has a different perspective on what that meant.
I continued along this path when I received a Master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica. This is not a religious degree; it is an in depth exploration about the spirit/soul within each of us. Again, my studies focused on how everyone is uniquely created--with our own journey, thoughts and feelings.
Then, I was introduced to BodyTalk. As a huge fan of holistic healthcare, I find that with BodyTalk, I now have a practical, systematic approach, working with each person individually and intuitively to rebalance on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level.
In addition to earning a Masters of Arts in Spiritual Psychology degree and certification as a Professional Coach (CPC), I have completed the following coursework in The BodyTalk System: BodyTalk: Access, Fundamentals, Parts 1 & 2, Fundamentals Integration, Principles of Consciousness, Bio-Dynamics, Lymphatic Drainage and Applied A&P, Macrocosmic BodyMind, Matrix Dynamics, Applied Integration, Anatomy and Physiology for BodyTalk Modules I, II & III, Body Chemistry Specifics, and Mindscape. I have taken the following courses with Founder, Dr. John Veltheim -- Finding Health: Mapping the Healing Process; Finding Health 2: Applied Consciousness, Founder's Intensive and Eastern Medicine.
I passed the Certified BodyTalk Practitioner exam in 2009 and the Advanced Certified Practitioner exam in 2012. Through Parama College, I completed Parama I and II + Practicums, and Practitioner requirements in 2011.
