Abbey was drawn to BodyTalk as part of her own journey towards greater health and well-being.  She began exploring various energy healing modalities while searching for answers to her own physical health issues, but quickly recognized the benefits of these practices to her life as a whole.  Along the way she trained in a number of different methods, including Educational Kinesiology/Brain Gym, Yuen Energetics, shamanic healing, Reiki, chakra and meridian work, and various other approaches.  While appreciating and learning from them all, it was BodyTalk that inspired her to  open a practice.

     In addition to experience in a number of different healing methods, Abbey brings a strong background in science and teaching to her practice.  Her science training includes research in biochemistry and several fields within ecology and environmental science; she has taught students of all ages, with subjects ranging from art and outdoor education to science and math.  She also learned a great deal working as a counselor for at-risk teens and students with learning challenges.

     Abbey believes that in healing ourselves and our relationships, we are also healing Earth as a whole. She enjoys working with children, teens and animals in addition to adults, and offers both in-person and distance sessions.
