Biography

Dr. Laura Stuve is a PhD molecular biologist and a Certified BodyTalk Practitioner. She has had a successful career doing research in human molecular genetics for the past 25 years in both academia and the biotechnology industry. She received her PhD in Biochemistry from the University of California, San Francisco and went on to do a post-doctoral fellowship at Stanford, working on the Human Genome Project. She has directed numerous research projects focused on investigation of the genetic basis of human disease.

Laura has also had a lifelong interest in alternative healing, Chinese medicine and shamanism leading her to discover BodyTalk in 2005. BodyTalk has helped resolve her major chronic health issues and inspired her to study the endlessly fascinating world of the human body from the myriad of perspectives that are integrated in BodyTalk. Laura's BodyTalk practice incorporates techniques from all of the Advanced Modules, Mindscape and PaRama Units 1 and 2. She also practices the advanced Body Chemistry techniques for addressing allergies, food cravings and hormonal imbalances.

Laura currently balances her BodyTalk practice, training to become a BodyTalk instructor and being a mom. She sees clients with a wide range of concerns 3 days a week at Artemis Healing Center in Los Gatos, one day a week in Los Altos and is available for long distance sessions. She loves to work with both adults and children. Her BodyTalk sessions frequently call upon her detailed molecular biology background in combination with the multidisciplinary and intuitive approach of PaRama BodyTalk.
