Stroke and Cortices

Submitted 12-Sep-09 by

Wanda Dobe, Practitioner, Australia

Keywords: stroke, cortices

From about five meters away across a playground I saw my mother unsteady on her feet and reaching for the wall as she went into a toilet block. So I ran and found her on the floor shaking in the classic stroke position with her left hand and arm curled up tight and not responding. I started cortices and halfway through the second round she had come too, her arm and hand uncurled and she was very dazed but ok. She suffered some damage which affected her balance so she could not drive for several weeks and became dizzy just walking, but with BT this has gone away and she is back to driving and teaching yoga. Love my mum, love BodyTalk.
