Dear Members,
We have been remiss in making a follow-up announcement regarding the IBA Members Conference that we last announced was tentatively planned for April 2021 in Australia. Our announcement was, regrettably, premature. Temporarily, our enthusiasm eclipsed practicalities. As soon as we added Australian Conference Planning to our list of priorities, we realized we were being overly ambitious.
As a web-based organization, to best serve our Members our top priority right now is the updating and streamlining of our online platforms. This is a big undertaking for our small staff, as dedicated and hardworking as they are. At present, Members Conferences won't be on the schedule for us, since they require so much staff time and effort. Instead, when we do plan special events, we will focus on smaller, less-demanding teaching forums and the like. We apologize for the change, but we do hope this shift in direction allows us to serve you in the ways that matter most.
