We've been busy! – Manuals and Courses

What we've been up to ...
Manuals are a big deal here at the International BodyTalk Association. Nearly all of our courses revolve, in part, around a thoughtfully constructed manual, the creation of which involved our Founders and multiple Instructors and Practitioners carefully reviewing the material. However, in recent years, when the IBA Team has updated a manual or released a course or manual in a new language, we have been remiss in sharing the exciting news with everyone, even though there is usually a select group of very excited people. For example, students in France have been taking MindScape courses with the newly graduated MindScape Instructor Cindy Guermeur and were eagerly awaiting a French manual. We had a group of two translators working on it, in addition to Cindy herself and the IBA design team. We are happy to announce that the French MindScape manual finally went to print last week thanks to the help of Elke Löwigt at our German IBA office.
It is no small feat to update a manual in any language, and it's an even bigger feat to translate a manual into an entirely new language. So it is with great enthusiasm that we'd like to share with you all the manuals and courses that have become available through the efforts of dozens of translators, proofreaders and the IBA team in the last 18 months.
BodyTalk for Animals (English) – This manual was meticulously updated with corrections, adjustments, new material in the introduction and appendices, and many new photos. It only went to print the week before the reinvigorated BodyTalk for Animals (Mod 8a) course launched online in November 2020.
BodyTalk for Animals (German) – All the updated content, material and photos in the English update were translated and released in the German manual, which went to print in June of this year.
BodyTalk for Animals (Japanese) – Our partners at the BodyTalk Japan Association handled all the updated material, photos and layout and did a fantastic job so that the course could start being taught in Japanese this past spring.
BodyTalk Fundamentals (Portuguese) – This manual took a colossal effort to translate and prepare the layout. It was indeed a labor of love. The 330-page BodyTalk Fundamentals manual was translated from scratch, as Brazilians still used the very old original Mod 1 and 2 separate manuals. Certified BodyTalk Instructor Verena Kacinskis translated the whole manual, and it was reviewed very carefully by the various members of the Brazil BodyTalk Association. It was a major accomplishment and was sent to print in February of this year.
MindScape (French) – As stated above, this was the first-ever translation of the MindScape manual into French and was just completed last week.
BodyTalk Fundamentals (German) – Updates made to the BodyTalk Fundamentals manual in 2018 to include three-brain tapping and other minor corrections and adjustments were completed and went to print in Germany one year ago in December 2020.
BodyTalk Access (German) – Although it was a little more than 18 months ago, we did want to mention the German BodyTalk Access manual. It was updated to align with the 2018 English update of the manual and went to print in February 2020.
In progress
BodyTalk for Animals (Portuguese) – This manual had never been translated into Portuguese, so it was recently translated from scratch. A detailed review and proofreading was just completed. The IBA will start the design and layout very soon. We will announce when it's complete and the course is ready to be taught in Brazil. We know many students are waiting!
BreakThrough (English) – This update is currently in progress. There have been many updates to the BreakThrough 7 Steps Protocol over the years. We are incorporating these changes and making it so it will be easy to update on the fly and print-on-demand since the BreakThrough protocol is continually being refined.
On PaRama Campus
Soul's Journey (Portuguese) – Many Portuguese-speaking students had never taken this course, and there was a high demand for it. This course, too, was a labor of love, as it was a special course to John, Esther, and the IBA. We are very happy to make it easily accessible for self-study online in another language. The course on PaRama Campus was just released today!
BodyEcology (English) – Although we promoted BodyEcology's release, it was another big course-related project for the IBA this past year.
Male and Female Infertility (English) – This is another course that was released to PaRama Campus this year.
