A few months before our Founder, John's, passing, we received a beautiful writeup from retired IBA Instructor Rosilyn Kinnersley honoring John. She wrote simply, 

"Please find attached an acknowledgment of John Veltheim article that I penned over the weekend for you to consider for the IBA newsletter." 

Reading it at the time, we were all moved by her beautiful outpouring, and we were able to share her letter with John. But, for some reason putting it in the newsletter at that time didn't feel right. However, rereading Rosilyn's acknowledgment this week, it feels more right than ever, so it is now the time to share with you, our Members. In recent months I have been stunned and overwhelmed at how exponentially expanded the sessions I do week by week are evolving. I am overcome with gratitude again and again for John and the intelligence he is in creating the magnificent BodyTalk System. I have always been in awe of the immensity of BodyTalk. After 18 years of full-time practice as a BodyTalk practitioner, I have now evolved to working at the highest consciousness levels, working with the shifts and changes as the consciousness of the planet and each of its living aspects is unveiling. I leave most sessions stunned at the scope of BodyTalk, having, as always, entirely trusted in my innate wisdom to lead me in the right direction in the highest interests of the patient, never quite knowing what will be revealed. Pretty interesting stuff these days.

I felt a deep inner urge to write in acknowledgment of the being known as John Veltheim – the Founder behind the expansive brilliance that is the BodyTalk System.

When I first met John at a seminar he was conducting in Brisbane, Australia, in 2005, he asked me what I had done in BodyTalk, then what I had done prior to BodyTalk. I gave him a brief rundown and asked him where I could most serve BodyTalk and the planetary community. He replied, "Become an instructor." I followed his direction and became an instructor in 2006, teaching nationally and internationally, loving every moment while continuing to build my private clinical practice. BodyTalk has supported me health-wise for all these years and provided a secure and comfortable income.

Through constant and diligent study and a consistent routine of annual revision of every module and course in BodyTalk, my intuitive knowledge, fluency, and knowingness have expanded beyond my wildest expectations. Although I never achieved John's ultimate scenario of having a "waiting list practice" simply because I am always available, there has rarely been a day over the past 18 years when I have not had at least a few sessions to do. Having practiced exclusively via Skype or remotely since 2012, I remain as busy as ever and am still as passionate as ever about my work and the BodyTalk System.

I have made many friends within the BodyTalk worldwide community of colleagues. I bless the day I was dragged kicking and screaming to my first BodyTalk seminar in 2004 – particularly considering that in 2000 I was burnt out. I had vowed never to return to either of my occupations (a Suzuki piano teacher out of hours and a healthcare practitioner during school hours). I was done! – that is until BodyTalk found me four years later and completely captured my attention, accompanied by a massive dose of humble pie.

Although John is no longer in the public eye, impossible though it may seem to us "oldies," many may forget his role in the evolution of this huge and remarkable body of work; they may not realize there is no other modality out there that is so multifaceted, with such a vastness of scope.

Dr. John Veltheim has given us the most comprehensive and workable healthcare modality ever seen or experienced on Earth. Much of his life has been dedicated to assisting with and solving the daily maladies that the human form embodies. Through his colossal intelligence and thirst for knowledge about all things related to the human condition, he has studied endlessly, read extensively, attended countless trainings, and willingly shared his experience, knowledge, and talent with all who are open and willing to listen, study, and apply this wisdom in the form of the BodyTalk System.

John has made it his business to meet colleagues and countless other intelligences to expand his knowledge base and understanding of the magnificently extensive possibilities, potentials, and probabilities of health care. This caring has extended to the animal and plant kingdoms and has touched Earth itself. There is no word big enough that encompasses all that John is, and the word "comprehensive" seems too small to contain all that the BodyTalk System is.

There is no one, dead or alive, who has matched the vastness of the all-embracing, all-inclusive BodyTalk System. The icing on the cake with the BodyTalk System is that the treatments work and they hold. Very few, if any, other healthcare modalities "hold" and "work." Even in its simplest and most basic straightforward format of BodyTalk Access and BodyTalk Fundamentals, the System is extraordinarily capable of achieving miracles within each session – depending on the dedication, fluency, and attention of the practitioner. John has laid the foundations and sorted the courses. It is up to us as individual practitioners to take responsibility for achieving stellar results in our work by fluently knowing, practicing, and expanding our experience.

For well over 25 years, John spent as much time flying around the planet as he has spent on the ground - teaching, sharing, reading, listening, researching, creating, and exploring to advance the sheer breadth and potential of the BodyTalk System. He must have accumulated more Frequent Flyer points than he could ever use! Just as well he developed the skills to counteract such a minor inconvenience as jetlag!

The incredible scope of the BodyTalk System is endless and can sometimes become overwhelming. Those who were present at the first official BodyTalk System seminar John taught back in the mid-90s when there were only a few techniques – not even a Module 1 - must surely be awed by how John has continued to create and evolve so much of what he has learned, both new knowledge and clinical experience, into the advanced courses, revealing their potential and applicability.

Dr. John Veltheim: For what you have contributed and given to planet Earth – and who knows, perhaps the Cosmos – and for your dedication and love for all life forms in the name of healing and health care, it is with the greatest affinity, the deepest appreciation and affection, the utmost gratitude and highest respect, that you are acknowledged here and now with the highest accolade of honor and distinction for your mammoth contribution to the health and wellbeing of those who inhabit planet Earth. It is a great privilege to know you and to be associated with your greatest creation: the BodyTalk System.

May the significance of your creation be experienced for many generations.
