30 Day Mirror Exercise

Looking in the mirror takes a lot of courage, as our reflections are an expression of the stories and wounds that are locked deep within the body.  Facing the mirror allows one  the opportunity to hear, listen and explore the masks and coping patterns we use to draw out the unique inner beauty within.  Using theses coping patterns often from a place of fear of rejection, afraid of expressing our internal beauty that is unique to you and like no other.

I welcome everyone to join me on this 30 day challenge to nurture and support your unique internal beauty and provide yourself an opportunity to explore a new foundation and relationship with yourself and your mirror.

Stay true and be you!

MIRROR EXERCISE:

Take time each day like a ritual to honor yourself; put on a song you like, be in a room you like, light a candle just a to mention a few ideas. Take time to admire yourself in a mirror, full length if you have one and if not you may want to go and buy one :) or as along as you can make eye contact with yourself.

As you look at yourself in the mirror you can do this clothed, or if you willing to challenge yourself you can do this naked; or a combination by starting off clothed, and when you feel ready try naked.

Trying this exercise naked allows you an opportunity to observe the naked body, also removing the armour and defenses clothing often reflect. Thus providing you an experience of vulnerability and a deeper level of honesty; connecting yourself with an experience of true intimacy.

Each day read your list of compliments, ensuring you add a new one each day. Totaling 30 compliments!!

Once you have complimented yourself, and felt it through every cell in the body. Then take time to answer the three questions in a journal, or piece of paper.

1.    HOW DID YOU FEEL LOOKING AT YOURSELF IN THE MIRROR

2.    WRITE YOUR COMPLIMENT DOWN IN A LIST FORMAT

3.    WRITE YOUR EXPERIENCE OF HOW YOU FELT RECEIVING YOUR COMPLIMENT

4.    POST YOUR EXPERIENCES ALONG THE WAY ON THE FREEFALL FORUM ON THE THREAD 30 DAY CHALLENGE!
