Biography
Theresa Spong has been a practicing Physical Therapist since 1984. She holds a bachelors degree in Physical Therapy from Texas Women’s University. She now specializes in the field of Pediatrics in the ECI and School Arenas as well as in Private outpatient Pediatric PT. With more than 35 years experience as a Physical Therapist working in Acute care settings as well as Pediatric settings. She has extensive training in NDT and Sensory Integration techniques. She also holds a Masters degree in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Texas in Austin. She has been an instructor at the University of Texas in Austin specializing in training for teachers working with children with disabilities. In 2011 she was introduced to bodytalk as a client and quickly realized the benefits of this system.
Theresa has been a practicing CBP since 2012. As a Physical therapist, she has seen firsthand the difference in both her pediatric and adult clients as she has studied this methodology and incorporated it into her training. She now has a private Bodytalk practice and offers distance session and In person sessions. She has continued her training in the advanced Bodytalk and Mindscape systems. Completing advanced training in BioDynamics, Macrocosmic Bodymind, Consciousness, Matrix Dynamics, Eastern Medicine, Structural Integration, Visceral Integration, and Body Ecology . She has completed courses in Treating EpiGenetic Factors, Weight loss and Metabolism and Stress and Hormones as well as Cancer Treatment. She has completed studies in Longevity, aging, and Women's health. Most recently she is taking the new Parama course training. She has also studied San Baio and Body Intuitive. She is now treating clients with COVID and offering treatment sessions for people prior to taking the COVID vaccine. Her practice also includes Essential oils, Myofascial Release,and She has completed her Reiki Certification. Her sessions span a vast array of modalities and extensive knowledge from her physical Therapy background.
