Biography
Dr. Diane Otness is a Physical Therapist, Reiki Master, and Certified Body Talk Practitioner.
Dr. Otness was inspired to become a physical therapist while observing family members with chronic illnesses manage their symptoms with physical activity.
While working as a physical therapist, Dr. Otness observed the impact that emotions, ideas, beliefs, social factors and societal pressures have on the healing process, resulting in varying results for patients with similar illnesses, injuries, and disease processes.
While navigating her own personal healing journey through trauma, loss, injury and illness, she found hope, healing, and connection through the Body Talk System. During her recovery after several injuries and a medical treatment that resulted in debilitating paralysis, Dr. Otness was able to heal her body holistically which enabled her to avoid surgery and regain a quality of life that was not anticipated.
Once she discovered the power of holistic healing, Dr. Otness decided to become a Body Talk Practitioner herself. She is eager to share the healing she received, and the connection she found with you. She has created a sanctuary where you can overcome the obstacles and challenges you face in order to create a life full of limitless potential!
Dr. Otness received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2010, became a Certified Reiki Master in 2022, and a Certified Body Talk Practitioner in 2024. She is dedicated to a life of continuous learning, healing and discovery.
