Biography
Hi, my name is Janet Hummel and I live in Armstrong, BC, Canada. A short bio on my life and interests follows to help you get to know me better.
I began my working career with a decade as a Registered Nurse in the Calgary, Alberta area. When our daughter came along, I gave up shift work and transitioned into Special Education as it suited my home and family life better. That was the surface reason but underneath, I always felt that there had to be another way of looking at health and healing.
Having always had a great curiosity in the why and how of the world around me, I felt there had to be more. This led me to explore many different paths always looking for the commonalities between them all. To me, it seemed the truth would lie there. Consequently, courses in Reiki, Sacred Geometry, the Melchizedek Method, Healing Touch, Shamanism, EFT, Reflexology, Theta Healing, Access Consciousness Bars and Cranio-Sacral healing have informed my world. When I found BodyTalk, it became the modality to join them all together with ease into a workable, efficient methodology that covers all potentials of how we express in the world. I am very grateful to have found such a thorough and inclusive treatment modality that enables such truly remarkable shifts in people's life experiences.
I became certified as a CBP practitioner in 2010 and have enjoyed the many courses that have been offered since that time.

Sound and frequency's impact on healing also has become a focus and so I am the proud partner to 7 Crystal Bowls that I use for sound healing meditations.
My goal as a practitioner is to be the focused consciousness, space and energy that allows our natural, intelligent, balanced selves to unfold in the highest way possible for each individual whatever that may look like.
