Biography
At a very early age, Irma de Jong became fascinated by the connection between mind and body in terms of physical and emotional wellness. She believes that we must treat both simultaneously for complete health.
‘Our body is a complex system with a delicate balance between physiological and biochemical functions, emotional and mental interactions, environmental influences, hereditary conditions and genetic factors. The balance between all these elements may eventually be disturbed by various physical or emotional causes. BodyTalk improves health by eliminating distortions and optimizing the internal communication of the body.’
‘In 2016 I was officially approved by the IBA as an Advanced Certified BodyTalk Practitioner (AdvCBP), which means I have successfully passed the formal training and examinations of the IBA. BodyTalk continues to evolve, which means constant study and learning the latest developments and techniques.’
‘In my practice I combine BodyTalk and Reiki. Sometimes the innate wisdom of the body will focus on physical healing — and sometimes on emotional healing. BodyTalk helps the body reveal the best path to long-lasting health.’
