Two New Core Learning Opportunities

We are incredibly excited to announce the launch of two new learning opportunities for BodyTalk students and practitioners. (Mod 5) BodyTalk: Lymphatic Drainage & Applied A&P, one of our core modules, has been adapted, updated, and repackaged into two separate classes that will be far more accessible to beginner students, to the public, and to anyone looking to upgrade their practice.
(Mod 5A) BodyTalk: Applied Anatomy and Physiology
This course is a two-day core module designed to give students and practitioners newfound confidence in incorporating the language of anatomy, physiology, and consciousness into their BodyTalk sessions. The class leads students on a journey from the macrocosmic to the microcosmic with clarity and ease. Whether the priority is within the systems of the body, the tissues, cells, chemicals, atoms, or quantum units of energy that build the physical form, this course will provide the tools needed to observe and facilitate the opportunity for balancing. Not only will you be able to work more specifically with the anatomy of the body, but you will come away with an expanded understanding of how to identify the physiological benefits of a balance. We will dive into Physiology definitions and will explore Consciousness as a way to define the mind-body connection represented by area being addressed. Consciousness definitions give the student and practitioner an opportunity to observe the influence of downward causation as it is embodied in the physical form.
As well as developing the left-brained understanding of "More specific" and "Definitions," Module 5A will support the development and integration of the intuitive aspects of the right brain. This is a dynamic, interactive class that will include many exercises to develop right-brain creativity while strengthening understanding around how to organize and communicate these insightful "pop-ups."
*Module 5A is open to all students who have completed the BodyTalk Fundamentals class and maintain active IBA membership.
(Mod 5B) Veltheim Method of Lymphatic Drainage
This is a two-day course teaching an incredibly innovative and effective standalone modality. It is an invaluable addition to any healthcare practice and is now being offered to the general public without the requirement of (Mod 1(2)) BodyTalk Fundamentals.
This unique technique is an energetic approach to support the movement of congested interstitial fluid into the lymphatic system for filtration and purification. John Veltheim, founder of the BodyTalk System and developer of the Veltheim Method of Lymphatic Drainage (VMLD), understood the vital importance of creating an environment for healing within the body. He developed VMLD to support the body's capacity to efficiently remove pathogens, toxins, cellular waste and even the accumulation of the chemicals of emotion that can affect body chemistry and function when they accumulate in tissues. VMLD is unique in that it focuses not on the structures of the lymphatic system itself but rather on restoring movement of the fluid around the cells. The goal is to reduce congestion and to optimize the capacity of the local lymphatic vessels to receive and transport lymph fluid and the toxins that it carries away from the affected cells.
VMLD is such an effective and versatile modality that students can build a successful in-office or remote practice by offering it as a standalone treatment. This technique can be performed over clothing with light physical touch, energetically off the body, and at a distance. Benefits include improved immunity, increased energy, decreased pain and swelling, natural detoxification, sinus drainage, bowel regulation, improved sleep, possible weight loss, improved skin tone, and nervous system regulation.
*Module 5A is available to any IBA Member or members of the public without prerequisites. Attract new clients or establish a new healthcare practice while learning tools that you can also apply on yourself to support ongoing health and healing with the Veltheim Method of Lymphatic Drainage.
Class Details
Both new classes include entirely new manuals and teaching techniques. As a result, students who have previously taken the (Mod 5) BodyTalk: Lymphatic Drainage & Applied A&P course can monitor at 50% of the full cost of the class provided they are maintaining an active IBA membership.
Please note that the original (Mod 5) BodyTalk: Lymphatic Drainage & Applied A&P will continue to be taught in Japan. It will be our goal once Mod 5A and Mod 5B are running smoothly to translate the manuals into Japanese and update our Japanese Instructors on the new manuals and changes.
