2013 Members Conference keynote speaker announced

We are excited to officially announce that award-winning author, international speaker and purveyor of radical ideas, Dr Manjir Samanta-Laughton, will be our keynote speaker at the 2013 Members Conference in Malta. Best known for her popular book Punk Science, Manjir is also an acclaimed international lecturer and has been interviewed in many aspects of mainstream media including the BBC.
Ever since John Veltheim read Punk Science he was very eager to meet Dr. Samanta-Laughton. John has a fascination with being able to take complex scientific concepts and bring them down to simpler explanations and practical applications for use in healthcare. Dr Samanta-Laughtons book was an excellent example of being able to do that. When John and Manjir finally met in May of this year, the two hit it off immediately and after speaking for over 5 hours, John invited her to speak at our conference next year.
We have a fantastic lineup of presentations planned, including a day of sightseeing and a very special post-conference course to be announced in the near future.
